Career Fairs are an opportunity to meet with representatives from a variety of industries, learn more about positions that are available and determine which organizations may be the best fit for you.

Who Should Attend?
- Students who are enrolled in Durham School programs-Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Engineering
- Students who are enrolled in Civil Engineering programs
- Students interested in a career in any of the fields listed above
How to Prepare
- Create or update your resume. The Peter Kiewit Institute Career Resource Center offers assistance with resume writing, interview skills, etc. Employers will be provided your resume. Students, please upload your resume when submitting your registration for the career fair online at http://www.engineering.unl.edu/specialty-units/durhamschool/careerfair/studentsreg.shtml no later than Monday, September 29, 2008 at 5:00pm.
- Attend the Career Fair Prep Workshop. Learn how to make the Career Fair work for you. You will get tips on what you need to do to make a good impression during and after the event.
- Research the participating employers.View the list of participating companies and begin researching the ones that interest you. Review current employment opportunities to get an idea of what skills and education are required to work for that company.
