Hometown: Elkhorn, NE
Career interest: Construction Management
Internship opportunities: In previous years I have spent my summers
working for the family construction company, Boschult Engineering
(general contractor from Fremont, NE). In an effort to broaden my
understanding of the construction industry, I will work as an intern
with Holder Construction as an Office Engineer during summer 2008.
Durham School interests: When I was in high school thinking about
college; I knew a couple things. I wanted to stay near home. I wanted
to be in the Engineering field. I wanted to get the best education, and
not spend too much for it. The Durham School filled every one of those
requirements. My final decision to become a part of the Durham School
continues to prove it's worth in my education, the opportunities I have
been given (both organizations and internships), and the overall feel I
get from being a part of this school.
Currently, I am a freshman at UNO in the Construction Management
program. When I was in high school I really wanted to learn about the
College of Engineering, but it was very difficult to learn about the
programs offered. When I got into UNO, I decided that I wanted to help
kids learn more about the field. That is why I joined AECSOP.
