Hometown: Huron, South Dakota Career interest: Project Management Internship Opportunities: VA Hospital, Danville IL. (Summer '08) Durham School Interests: AECSOP, DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America), AGC (Associated General Contractors of America), SCSC (Student Consortium for Specialty Contractors) In my first semester of involvement in AECSOP, I had the opportunity to participate in Fall trip to Kearny and Grand Island and presented to five different high schools. Fellow AESCOP members and I gave a short presentation about architectural engineering and spent time discussing the questions and concerns of the student. It was exciting to see the students realize all of the potential opportunities available in architectural and construction engineering and help them consider where to go that will provide them with the resources to accomplish their goals in life. |
