Model Goals
- To measure individual growth when learning a subject and learning how to work in a team
- To measure teamwork effectiveness
Principles of the Model
- Individuals must understand and be able to demonstrate their understanding in areas leading to team effectiveness
- A collective team of individuals must also understand and be able to demonstrate their understanding in areas leading to team effectiveness; and
- Measurement of understanding must occur both individually and collectively prior to and at the conclusion of the task
Model Outcomes
- Individually, team members grew in their understanding of the team constructs
- The team as a whole grew in their understanding of team constructs; and
- Proper synergy of task and team process occurred
