A dozen members of the U.S. Army Research
Laboratory visited Nebraska Engineering for
presentations and tours featuring work in UNL's
Trauma Mechanics Project laboratories. The project's
multi-disciplinary approach explores blast waves'
impact in traumatic brain injury, materials resistance,
and more. Associate Dean for Research and Graduate
Programs Namas Chandra leads the center and hosted
the interactions, which included updates from Army
representatives as well as discussion of developments with
participating College of Engineering faculty.
