Department of Computer Science and Engineering Lorin Hochstein is an assistant professor in the department. His research interest is software engineering with a focus on applying empirical methods to evaluate and improve software technology. Hochstein earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2006, his master's degree from Boston University in 2002 and his bachelor's degree from McGill University in 1999.
