Connections Class Notes Steven Barrett, EE ’79, is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wyoming. Barrett was named Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Wyoming Professor of the Year 2004, and was promoted to Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering with tenure in July 2005.
