President of Poland Honors Nowak

| Civil Engineering Professor Andrzej Nowak received the Award of National Professorship from the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynkski, on Feb. 16, 2007. It is a lifetime title and the highest recognition that Poland grants to anyone in academia. Nowak has been a professor at UNL since 2005. |  |
