Alumni Awards Nominations

Award	Description
Distinguished Alumni Service Award	The Distinguished Service Award is presented to alumni in recognition of exemplary service to the college, their community, and the engineering profession.
Outstanding Alumni Award	This award honors outstanding graduates who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to their profession and to their communities.
Young Alumni Award	The Young Alumni Award is given to alumni age 35 and under who have demonstrated professional excellence in their career field and organizations.

An individual who has previously received an award from the University of Nebraska and/or the College of Engineering in another category does not preclude receiving this award.

The awards committee will accept nominations from alumni‚ friends‚ and faculty‚ staff‚ or students of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The awards committee will retain and consider nominations for three years or until selected.

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2008 awards is March 21‚ 2008. Nominations may be printed and mailed to: Lark Bear‚ Dean´s Office‚ College of Engineering‚ 114 Othmer Hall‚ Lincoln‚ NE 68588-0642.

The College of Engineering Awards Committee will review nominations and recommend recipients to the Dean of the College.
