Advising Procedures for Civil Engineering Students - Lincoln
All Lincoln CIVE students are required to communicate with his/her advisor before registering for classes. Students who do not see their advising before registering may have a bar placed on their registration for the next semester. The procedure for academic advising is the following:
- Make an appointment with your academic advisor for advising.
- Review the course schedule and develop a preliminary course schedule.
- Meet with your advisor and discuss your academic progress and develop your course schedule.
- After you and your advisor have agreed upon the courses you will be registering for through NROLL.

• Faculty & Staff Recognition Ceremony and Dinner, TBD (Late April or Early May). There will be a College of Engineering faculty meeting, followed by the ceremony and dinner.
• Omaha Student Recognition Reception, Saturday, May 1, 10:30a.m. - 12:00pm, W.H. Thompson Alumni Center.
• Lincoln Recognition Reception for May & August Graduates, Friday, May 7, 1-3p.m., Location TBD. (Grad students will be recognized first)
