Dual Degree Program Options

Construction Management

The Departments of Civil Engineering and Construction Management have established a joint degree program of study. This program allows the student to obtain both accredited degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and the Construction Management, after six years of study. Many students follow a suggested sequence of courses. Special advising for this program is provided by Dr. Bruce Dvorak in Civil Engineering and Dr.Charles Berryman in Construction Management. This degree program is currently only available in Lincoln, but will likely be available in Omaha by 2007.

Architecture

The Departments of Civil Engineering and Architecture have established a joint degree program of study. This program allows the student to obtain both accredited degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and the Master of Architecture, after seven years of study. Many students follow a suggested sequence of courses (.pdf) . This sequence is also viewable in written form (.pdf) . Special advising for this program is provided by Professor Sharon Kuska. This degree program is only available in Lincoln.

• Faculty & Staff Recognition Ceremony and Dinner, TBD (Late April or Early May). There will be a College of Engineering faculty meeting, followed by the ceremony and dinner.

• Omaha Student Recognition Reception, Saturday, May 1, 10:30a.m. - 12:00pm, W.H. Thompson Alumni Center.

• Lincoln Recognition Reception for May & August Graduates, Friday, May 7, 1-3p.m., Location TBD. (Grad students will be recognized first)
