- Jan. 1999 - Mar. 1999. Hydraulic Engineer, Office of District 4 at Oakland, California Department of Transportation (CalTrans), CA. Applied water resources principles to highway drainage projects, specifically, applied the rational method, HEC-HMS and T-20 to modeling urban runoff process; applied HEC-RAS to checking the highway drainage infrastructure and bridge designs proposed by structural engineers; estimated potential bridge scour; and reviewed stormwater drainage proposals and designs submitted by private consultants.
