Dvorak elected Chair of the Nebraska Section of the American Water Works Association (NS-AWWA)


DvorakDr. Bruce Dvorak, associate professor and associate chair of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was elected chair of the Nebraska Section of the American Water Works Association (NS-AWWA*).

The Nebraska Section of the American Water Works Association is devoted to promoting public health, safety and welfare through the improvement of the quality and quantity of water delivered to the public, and enhanced understanding of the problems related to water supply and drinking water treatment.

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international nonprofit and educational society, with more than 60,000 members representing treatment plant operators and managers, scientists, environmentalists, manufacturers, academicians, regulators, and others who hold genuine interest in water supply and public health. Membership includes more than 4,600 utilities that supply water to roughly 180 million people in North America.
