- Trejo Sanchez receives Top Dissertation Award
- Professor Savory was recognized with the Engineering Student Advisory Board "Props for Profs" Award in December 2006. This award is sponsored by the Engineering Student Advisory Board in order to show our appreciation to faculty who go above and beyond their classroom requirements.
- Dr. K.P. 'Raju' Rajurkar is interim departments chair - a national search is on
- Dr. Robert Williams is Associate Department chair - students with academic concerns or issues should visit with him
- Dr. Susan Hallbeck was also selected to be the Ergonomics Quality in Design (EQUID) subcommittee chair for Development within the International Ergonomics Association. The International Ergonomics Association is the federation of ergonomics and human factors societies from around the world.
